Zachary O'Brien is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism at Penn State University, expected to graduate in May 2026. O'Brien serves as the House Manager for Sigma Pi - Theta Chapter at Pennsylvania State University since April 2024 and holds the position of Vice President of Business Development at The Daily Collegian, where responsibilities include selling advertising space and negotiating agreements with local businesses. In addition, O'Brien works as a Seasonal Sales Associate at The Family Clothesline, providing customer service and managing transactions. As an Active Member of the Public Relations Society of America, O'Brien collaborates with public relations professionals and fellow students to enhance networking skills. O'Brien also contributes as a News Anchor for Penn State Network Television, delivering news updates to the campus community.

WHAT WE ARE: The Daily Collegian, The Weekly Collegian, and The Daily Collegian Online are published by Collegian Inc., an independent, non-profit corporation with a board of directors composed of students, faculty, and professionals. WHO WE ARE: Pennsylvania State University students produce all content that is self-promoted online as well as published in a student-designed newspaper product that is printed weekly. Students also solicit clients for advertising, analyze consumer trends, design in-house, and client graphics, as well as create marketing campaigns to improve audience reach and revenue. OUR MISSION: The dual mission of Collegian Inc. is to publish quality media products for the Penn State community and to provide a rewarding educational experience for the student staff members.
