Ava Andrews is a talented design professional currently serving as a Student Design Intern at Gamecock Football, where collaboration with designers focuses on creating engaging graphics for various platforms. Concurrently, Ava holds the position of Design Director for the University of South Carolina Student Government and serves as a Daily Gamecock Student Designer. Additionally, Ava is the Deputy Design Director at Blossom Magazine SC and has experience working as a Server and Hostess at 44Mills, Inc. With a role as Social Media Manager at CMA Mechanical Heating and Air, responsibilities include overseeing social media interactions and planning digital campaigns. Ava is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Design and Visual Communications with a focus on Sports Media and a minor in Entrepreneurship from the University of South Carolina, expected to graduate in 2026 after completing earlier education at Central Cabarrus High School.

The Daily Gamecock is the editorially independent student newspaper at the University of South Carolina. The print version is published Monday through Friday during the fall and spring semesters and nine times during the summer, with the exception of university holidays and exam periods.
