Chad Arnold

Chad Arnold is a dedicated journalist with a focus on local governance and reporting. Currently serving as the Schenectady City Hall reporter for The Daily Gazette since October 2021, Chad has previously worked as a reporter for The Post-Star from May 2020 to October 2021 and as a correspondent for the USA TODAY NETWORK from August 2018 to May 2020, where coverage included Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York state Legislature. Chad also contributed as an associate news editor for the Albany Student Press early in 2018. Chad holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University at Albany, earned between 2017 and 2020, and has an educational background from SUNY Westchester Community College from 2015 to 2017.
