Micah Sandy

Micah Sandy serves as the Digital Managing Editor and Photo Editor at The Daily Northwestern, leading the photography team and enhancing publication visuals through various initiatives. Experience includes roles as Senior Staffer, Opinion Editor, and Copy Chief, focusing on content creation, editing, and adherence to editorial standards. As an Assignment Editor and Reporter for Northwestern News Network, Micah coordinates assignments and conducts live reporting. Micah also holds positions as a Peer Adviser for the Office of Student Transition Experiences, Student Admission Volunteer Coordinator at the Office of Undergraduate Admission, and Forum Editor for the Northwestern Undergraduate Law Journal. Additional contributions include serving on the Student Advisory Committee for Common App and leadership roles in Model UN. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Political Science from Northwestern University, Micah has a diverse educational background and experience in journalism and media.
