Contributing Writer at The Daily Princetonian

Michael Kostolansky is an undergraduate researcher at Princeton University, currently working with the Webb Group on developing a hybrid Flory-Huggins-Potts model for polymer simulations, aimed at studying phase-separated polymer condensates in biological systems. Prior experience includes modeling homo-polymer systems with the Jacobs Group to explore biomolecular self-assembly, conducting research on lasso peptides in the A. James Link Lab, and assisting in viral genomics at the Joint Genome Institute. Michael Kostolansky has also collaborated as a visiting researcher at the Frith Lab of The University of Tokyo. Currently pursuing a degree in Chemistry at Princeton University, Michael Kostolansky graduated from De La Salle High School in 2022.
