Yacoub Kahkajian

Yacoub Kahkajian currently serves as Lead Software Engineer at The Daily Princetonian, where responsibilities include expanding multimedia offerings and developing custom APIs to better serve over 90,000 readers. Previous roles at The Daily Princetonian include Data Journalist and Associate Web Developer. Yacoub completed a Product Management Internship at New Voters, applying agile principles to create an opportunities board, and worked as an Undergraduate Student Instructor at Princeton University Computer Science, developing a curriculum for first-year students. A former Computer Science Summer Institute Scholar at Google, Yacoub produced multiple web development projects and presented a web app to a large audience. Additionally, Yacoub contributed to media literacy initiatives as a MediaWise Research Assistant at the Poynter Institute and improved accessibility for ridesharing applications as an Android Engineer Intern at I.T. Curves. Yacoub is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Princeton University.
