Anna Butler

Anna Butler is an experienced journalist and editor currently serving as the Food & Events editor and previously a Real Estate reporter at The Dallas Morning News since January 2024. Prior experience includes roles as Managing Editor and Real Estate Editor at the Dallas Business Journal from September 2021 to November 2023, and Corporate Transactions Reporter at The Texas Lawbook for a brief tenure in 2021. Anna also held the position of Director of Operations at Patterson Thoma Family Office and served in various editorial roles at the Dallas Business Journal from 2015 to 2020. Earlier career highlights include managing web content for Andrew Harper and marketing coordination at Jesta Digital. Anna obtained a degree in History, Latin, and Art History from Wake Forest University and studied Classic Culinary Arts at the International Culinary Center.
