Aria Jones

Aria Jones is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in news reporting and editing. Currently serving as a Southern Dallas Reporter and Breaking News Reporter at The Dallas Morning News since January 2022, Aria has previously held various roles, including newsroom intern at the Austin American-Statesman and Reporting Fellow at Texas Tribune. Early career experiences include a Breaking News Internship at The Dallas Morning News, a News Desk Editor position at The Daily Texan, and reporting internships at El Paso Times. Aria's educational background includes a Journalism degree from The University of Texas at Austin and studies at Dallas College, where leadership roles were held as Editor in Chief at The Et Cetera. Additionally, prior experience in visual merchandising and sales was gained at Forever 21.
