Carl Leubsdorf is an experienced journalist with a distinguished career spanning several decades. Since February 1981, Leubsdorf has served as a Washington columnist and previously as Washington Bureau Chief for The Dallas Morning News. Prior to this, Leubsdorf worked as a Washington Correspondent for The Sun (Baltimore) from January 1976 to February 1981 and was the Chief Political Writer and Staff Writer at The Associated Press from June 1960 to December 1975. Leubsdorf holds a Master's degree with Honors in Journalism from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism and a Bachelor's degree with Honors in Government from Cornell University.
