Claire Ballor

Claire Ballor is an experienced food reporter currently working at The Dallas Morning News since January 2022. Ballor has a diverse background in journalism, having previously worked as a freelance writer from December 2019 to January 2022 and as a staff reporter at the Dallas Business Journal from September 2018 to August 2019. Prior roles at The Dallas Morning News included reporting on Dallas City Hall, breaking news, and serving as a communities reporting intern from January 2015 to August 2018. Claire also gained marketing communications experience as an intern at GE Capital and completed an editorial internship at Total Beauty Media, Inc. in 2013. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in English, Journalism, and International Studies from The University of Dallas, as well as culinary training at Scuola di Arte Culinaria Cordon Bleu in 2019.
