Walt Stallings

Walt Stallings currently serves as the Sr. Deputy Managing Editor at The Dallas Morning News, a position held since July 2004, where responsibilities include supervising various editorial desks and managing financial and news space planning for the newsroom. Previously, Walt held roles such as Deputy Managing Editor, General Manager of Suburban Operations, and AME/Metro at The Dallas Morning News between 1996 and 2004. Walt earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from UT-Arlington, completing the degree from 1972 to 1976.
