Lori Langer de Ramírez

K-12 Chair, World And Classical Languages And Global Language Initiatives at The Dalton School

Lori Langer de Ramírez serves as the K-12 Chair for World and Classical Languages and Global Language Initiatives at The Dalton School since September 2012. Prior experience includes roles as an educational consultant across various international, independent, charter, and public schools from 1998 to January 2019, and as Chair of ESL, Immersion, and World Languages at Herricks Public Schools from 1998 to September 2012. Lori has also contributed as a guest lecturer at notable universities including MIT, NYU, and Rutgers, alongside serving as an adjunct professor at Teachers College, Columbia University. Lori holds an Ed.D. in Curriculum and Teaching from Teachers College, Columbia University, an M.S. in Applied Linguistics from Queens College, and a B.A. in Secondary Education and Spanish from SUNY New Paltz.
