Liza Bolton

Liza Bolton is a Professional Teaching Fellow at The University of Auckland since February 2024, with extensive experience in statistics education and data analysis. Liza operates as a Data Ambassador at The Data Embassy, developing and analyzing surveys for various sectors and emphasizing the importance of being a "good ambassador" for data during teaching. Previous roles include Assistant Professor in the Teaching Stream at the University of Toronto and multiple teaching positions at The University of Auckland, where Liza successfully supported students in Mathematics and Statistics. Liza's early career included a summer internship at Deloitte New Zealand and event coordination at the Voyager New Zealand Maritime Museum. Liza holds a PhD in Statistics and has completed various degrees at The University of Auckland, showcasing a robust academic foundation in Mathematics and Statistics.
