Toby Sharpe has a diverse range of work experience. Toby is currently the Managing Director of The Data School New York, a career acceleration program for aspiring Data professionals. Toby is also the Head of The Data School New York at The Information Lab, where they help people make sense of data using Tableau and Alteryx. Before these roles, Toby was the Founder & Principal of Beyond The Spark, a consulting services company for businesses expanding into North America. Toby also held roles in strategic alliances & business development at Corra, market development in North America at New Vision Software Ltd, senior business development consulting at Volo Commerce, market development in North America at Poq and Intelligent Interfaces, and sales consulting at Corra. Toby's expertise lies in market development and business consulting.
Toby Sharpe graduated from Oxford Brookes University in 2003 with a BSc Hons in Leisure Planning and Tourism Management. Prior to that, they completed their A-levels in Maths, Physics, and Geography at Clayesmore School from 1990 to 1999.

Many of the world’s biggest Tableau and Alteryx deployments are at US-based companies and with that comes the hardest and most interesting data problems to solve with these great technologies. Our 28-month paid training program has been fine-tuned in other Data School locations around the world including London, Sydney and Hamburg, and includes four months of in-depth training followed by 4 six-month work placements at top international businesses.
