Dr. Meera Mani is a seasoned leader in children's health and education, currently serving as Vice President and Director of the Children, Families, and Communities Program at the David and Lucile Packard Foundation since March 2009. In this role, Meera provides strategic direction for initiatives focused on children's health insurance, early learning, and summer enrichment. Additionally, as Program Officer for the Preschool Program, Meera oversees a commitment of approximately $9 million aimed at ensuring high-quality preschool access for all three and four-year-olds in California, particularly those in underserved communities. Prior to this, Meera held the position of Research Director at Preschool California from May 2008 to February 2009. Meera holds an Ed.D in Educational Leadership and Administration from Boston University and an M.S. in Child Development from the University of Vadodara.
