Tom Bowmer

Tom Bowmer is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in investment and tax management. Currently serving as the Investment & Tax Controller at The David and Lucile Packard Foundation since March 2022, Tom previously worked at The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation as a Tax Officer and Senior Accountant, focusing on investments and tax from October 2015 to March 2022. Tom's career also includes roles at BPM LLP as an Assurance Senior Associate and at HIP Investor as a Corporate Financial Analyst. Early in the career, Tom served as Pantry Coordinator at Sacred Heart Community Service. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master of Business Administration from San Francisco State University, Lam Family College of Business. Tom completed high school at Bellarmine College Preparatory.
