John Sanders has extensive experience in international trade and management, currently serving as the Manager of International Trade at DJJ-The David J Joseph Company since 2009. In this role, John spearheads marketing and procurement actions for Nucor Steel, specializing in the European and MENA regions, and regularly negotiates contracts valued between $20,000,000 and $40,000,000, achieving significant cost savings for the organization. Prior to this position, John held various roles at The David J. Joseph Company since 1991, including District Manager and Brokerage Representative. Additionally, John served in the US Army from 1986 to 1991, achieving the rank of Captain and taking on various leadership and teaching roles. John holds a BA in Public Policy from Washington and Lee University.
