Christopher Cleaveland has a diverse work experience starting in 1995 at Foster's Daily Democrat as a Sunday Editor. Christopher then moved on to work at OpenPages in 2000 as a Sr. Business Analyst where they were responsible for project scoping and implementation. In 2002, Cleaveland joined The Day Publishing Company as a Systems Editor and later became the IT Operations Manager. Their most recent role at The Day was as the Information Technology Director, where they managed all aspects of the company's IT department, including project management, budget forecasting, and team leadership. Throughout their career, Cleaveland gained expertise in areas such as system administration, content management, and MS SQL Server administration.

Christopher Cleaveland attended the University of New Hampshire from 1985 to 1989, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in English/Journalism. Prior to that, they attended Franklin High School from 1984 to 1985 and The Lawrenceville School from 1981 to 1983, but did not receive any degree or specify a field of study during these periods.
