Joe Ruggeri

Joe Ruggeri is an experienced web developer with a career spanning over three decades in the media and technology sectors. Currently employed at The Day Publishing Company since March 2009, Joe specializes in both front-end and back-end web development, ensuring efficient content delivery for a daily newspaper. Previously, Joe served as the Director of Operations for the Newport International Film Festival, overseeing technical and operational staff, and has experience as a webmaster focusing on website and database development. Earlier roles include web development at JFmedia and co-owning JFTR as a web designer, alongside a foundational career as a reporter and copy editor at The Newport Daily News. Joe holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Rhode Island.
