Kurabe Makiura

Director Of Corporate Services at The Delta Companies

Kurabe Makiura's work experience begins in 2013 as a Summer Intern at the Office of Takao Ochi, the member of The House of Representatives Japan. They presented on "The Future of Japan" and engaged in data analysis. In 2014, they became an Analyst at the Edinburgh University Trading and Investment Club, where they critically analyzed financial markets. From 2015 to 2016, Kurabe served as Co-President of the University of Edinburgh The Japan Society, organizing events to introduce Japanese culture to Edinburgh. In 2016, they worked as a Project Coordinator/ Communication Officer for the Japanese Rugby Football Union. In the same year, they also had a Summer Internship at McCann Worldgroup, completing tasks for international clients. In 2018, Kurabe joined Mitsui & Co., Ltd. as an Associate in the Integrated Service Development Department. From 2019 to 2021, they were seconded to AIM SERVICES CO., Ltd., and in 2021, they became an Associate for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and Paralympics Initiatives Group. In 2023, Kurabe joined The Delta Companies as the Director of Corporate Services.

Kurabe Makiura began their education in 2009 at Stowe School, where they completed their secondary education. Kurabe then went on to pursue a degree in Economics and Accounting at The University of Edinburgh from 2014 to 2018.
