Chiara Edwards

Chiara Edwards is an experienced professional currently serving as an Assistant Director at Commonwealth Treasury since April 2020. Prior experience includes a role as Principal Research Officer on secondment to the Senate Standing Committee on Environment and Communications at the Parliament of Australia from April 2022 to March 2023, and Audit Manager at the Australian National Audit Office from August 2018 to April 2020. Chiara's earlier positions include Policy Analyst and Research Officer in various capacities at Commonwealth Treasury and the Parliament of Australia, along with roles in the Department of Premier and Cabinet (Vic), the Parliament of Victoria, UBS, and ANZ. Chiara holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Melbourne and is currently pursuing a Graduate Certificate of Environmental and Resource Economics at The Australian National University.
