Dr Eleanor Chew Oam

Dr Eleanor Chew OAM has extensive experience in medical practice and governance, serving as Chair of the Board at AMA Queensland since May 2020, and holding various committee positions within the organization, including the Nominations, Finance, Risk and Audit, and Governance Committees. In addition to clinical roles as a General Practitioner at Ningi, Dr Chew is actively involved in several advisory committees for the Australian Department of Health, including the Medical Services Advisory and Diagnostic Imaging Advisory Committees. Dr Chew's previous leadership roles include Chair and Councillor positions at the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and serving on the Medical Board Australia Performance and Professional Standards Panel.
