Megan Lancaster is a seasoned public health and governance professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across several organizations. Currently, Megan serves as Assistant Secretary for both the Network Transition Taskforce and Public Health and Surveillance at the Australian Department of Health since October 2021. Prior to this, Megan held multiple executive director positions during the COVID-19 response at the Victorian Department of Health, focusing on engagement and partnerships, as well as place strategies. Notable previous roles include Director of Community Engagement at Multicultural NSW and Director of Stakeholder Engagement at the Murray-Darling Basin Authority. Megan is an Honorary Fellow at the ANZSIG Institute for Governance, recognized with the Public Service Excellence Award in 2012 for excellence in collaborative governance. Academically, Megan holds a Master's Degree in Public Administration from The Australian National University and a Graduate Certificate in Social Impact from Melbourne Business School, complemented by a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from Charles Sturt University.
