Rebecca Rohan-Jones

Rebecca Rohan-Jones is a seasoned professional in communications and public affairs with extensive experience in both governmental and educational sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Communications and Public Affairs Manager at the Australian Department of Health since 2013, Rebecca manages strategic communications and media relations to support health care reform initiatives. Previous roles include directing communications for the ACT Education Directorate to promote Gonski reforms, managing public relations in the area of aged care, and serving as a public policy manager focused on women's safety at the Department of Social Services. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Journalism from Charles Sturt University, along with graduate studies in International Human Rights Law at the European University Institute and a Diploma in Teaching English as a Second Language from the University of Cambridge.
