Dahlia Dana

Trustee at THE DESIGN MUSEUM

After attaining a BSc in Economics and Politics from Bristol University, in 1999 Dahlia began her career as an investment manager at James Capel which became part of HSBC Investment Management. She then specialised in alternative investments at several family offices in London, latterly for J Rothschild Capital where she was Head of Funds. Over the past decade she has focused on investment in the technology sector, both in public markets and as an advisor to start-ups in New York and San Francisco.

Dahlia was named in HedgeFund journal's annual survey of 50 Leading Women in Hedge Funds sponsored by E&Y in 2011 and 2015.

She is passionate about Design and the importance of the creative economy to society. In 2021 she brought her finance and business skills to help the Design Museum start the Entrepreneurs Hub. This is the first entrepreneurs programme in any museum or cultural institution in Europe.
