Adam Goodman has worked in various roles since 2001. Adam began their career as USA Promotional Tour Manager for Guayaki Sustainable Rainforest Products, Inc. from 2001-2003. Adam then founded and managed the vertically-integrated, non-alcoholic fermented beverage brand Kombucha Botanica from 2003-2012. During this time, they led R&D, G&A and sales management and grew the brand and distribution nation-wide. From 2012-2014, they served as Director of Business Development for EKM Metering Inc., an IoT utility (electricity, water, gas) management hardware and software. Adam created the go-to market strategy and sales plan, sourced and managed full lifecycle of OEM partners, and developed new B2B market channels. From 2012-2015, they were Regional Sales Manager for Renew Financial, a fintech startup that pioneered PACE lending. Adam built a channel partner network for the energy efficiency finance product, prospected, presented, signed/closed, on-boarded and trained partners, and devised a sales plan to target EE contractor segment, generating $2M in incremental sales within the first year. From 2015-2019, they were Director of Sales & Merchant Operations for CloudPay and Business Development- California for Seedpay - Payments | Insurance | Banking. Most recently, they have been Business Development Manager for The Detection Group, Inc. since 2019.
Adam Goodman holds a B.A. in Political Science & Environmental Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Adam also holds certifications from the Miller Heiman Group, including an Influencing Partner Outcomes Channel Sales Certificate obtained in March 2016. Additionally, they hold certifications from HubSpot, including Inbound Sales Certified and Sales Software Certified, both obtained in January 2019.
