Maureen Feighan

Maureen Feighan possesses extensive experience in journalism, currently serving as Deputy Metro Editor at The Detroit News since February 2000. Within that role, Maureen has also functioned as the Breaking News Desk editor, Arts and Culture writer, and Design writer and columnist, focusing on home decor, design, and gardening in Detroit's Homestyle section. Prior to this, Maureen worked at The Greenville News Media Group as a Metro Reporter and Friday night editor, as well as a Suburban Reporter. Maureen is pursuing a Master’s in Public Administration with a focus on Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management at Eastern Michigan University, building on a Bachelor's degree in Journalism obtained from Michigan State University.
