Sam Gauntt

Sam Gauntt is an experienced journalist currently serving as the interim associate editor for College Park Here & Now and as a staff writer for The Diamondback, covering topics related to justice, equity, and identity. Previously, Sam has worked as a freelance reporter for College Park Here and Now, an editorial contractor for ConstructioNext, and held various editorial positions, including editor-in-chief, managing editor, associate editor, and reporter for the student newspaper at Anne Arundel Community College. Sam is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism at the University of Maryland, having completed prior studies at Anne Arundel Community College.
