Innocent Kwizera

Innocent Kwizera is a skilled professional in environmental and wildlife management, currently serving as the Field Camps Coordinator and Mountain Gorilla Tracker at the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund since April 2017, focusing on the monitoring and protection of mountain gorillas in Volcanoes National Park. Previous experience includes a professional internship involving field data collection for habitat assessments of birds and bamboo, as well as an academic internship dedicated to bird surveys and habitat assessment. Innocent's foundational experience includes an internship at Cyanika Slaughterhouse, where responsibilities included meat inspection and livestock vaccination.
