Sophie Smachtin

Sophie Smachtin currently serves as Event Manager for The DigitalFuture Summit at ESMT Berlin since October 2023. Previous experience includes an internship in Banking & Capital Markets Consulting at Deloitte Consulting in 2024, and roles as a Working Student and Intern in Audit & Assurance at EY from October 2022 to April 2023. Sophie completed a Bachelor Thesis on business model innovation for a nature-based guesthouse at Casa Intermezzo, achieving a grade of 90%. Additional experience includes internships at Deutscher Bundestag and Amtsgericht Saarbrücken, and a role as Experience Manager at AIESEC. Sophie holds a Master of Science in Global Management from ESMT Berlin and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from KU Leuven, with prior studies at IÉSEG School of Management and participation in the Haaß Summer School at RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau. An Abitur was completed at Albertus-Magnus-Gymnasium in 2019.
