The Dignity Project Ltd is an Australian charity recognised by the Australian Charity and Not-for-profits Commission which provides relief to young people, especially girls and women, experiencing disadvantage in India. The Dignity Project pursues three main courses of action to alleviate aspects of this disadvantage, namely improving access to education, reducing period poverty and assisting families to meet the nutritional and calorific needs of their children. Some of the impactful projects being supported by The Dignity Project include distribution of reusable sanitary pads in rural and tribal areas, sponsorship of a school for students living below the poverty line and sponsorship of a community kitchen and centre.
