Deborah Abelman, M.Ed., Ph.D.

Deborah Abelman, M.Ed., Ph.D. is the Director of Professional Development and Coaching at The Dimock Center. Deborah has a background in Early Childhood Special Education and has held various roles in the education field, including Director of Education, Training, and Evaluation at Family Service of Greater Boston, Consultant at SERESC, and Evaluation and Monitoring Specialist at AZ Department of Economic Security. Deborah has also worked as a visiting professor at Plymouth State University and as an Assistant Professor at Missouri Western State University. With a strong background in education and training, Deborah has a wealth of experience in developing and implementing professional development programs and evaluation systems in the early childhood education field.
