Lynne Sheridan

Vice President Child & Family Services at The Dimock Center

Lynne Sheridan has extensive experience in the field of early childhood development and education. Lynne has served as the Vice President of Child & Family Services at The Dimock Center since 2019, where they focus on improving outcomes for children and families by implementing quality monitoring and setting strategic goals.

Prior to their current role, Lynne worked as the Director of Community Children's Center at Horizons for Homeless Children starting in 2013. In this position, they ensured high-quality education and care for families experiencing homelessness.

Lynne also has experience as the Director of a NAEYC accredited early education and childcare center at The Centre School from 2002 to 2012.

Additionally, Lynne has experience in leadership positions at Radcliffe Child Care Centers, Inc.

Throughout their career, Lynne has demonstrated their commitment to providing nurturing, safe environments for children and families, and has focused on building protective factors and promoting resilience in early childhood development.

Lynne Sheridan earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology and Sociology from Drew University, where they studied from 1973 to 1977. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Special Education, Early Childhood Education and Teaching at Lesley University, attending from 1977 to 1979. Additionally, Lynne obtained certifications in "Improving Your Listening Skills" and "Strategic Planning: Case Studies" from LinkedIn in June 2020.
