Ellen Hense

Ellen Hense currently serves as the Director of Real Estate Transactions & Senior Counsel at The Dinerstein Companies, a position held since May 2023. Prior experience includes roles as an Associate at Mayer Brown from July 2021 to May 2023 and at Vinson & Elkins from September 2019 to July 2021. Ellen's earlier experience features a Judicial Internship with The Honorable Melinda Harmon, as well as legal internships with the Texas Innocence Network and The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights. Additionally, Ellen has a background in debate instruction through various organizations and has legislative experience as an intern for Representative Mark Strama, where efforts included advocating for increased access to debate for high school students. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor from the University of Houston Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from The University of Texas at Austin.
