Jim Gillivan has a long history in the printing and manufacturing industry, with over three decades of experience. Currently serving as the Production Services Manager at The Columbus Dispatch since July 1989, Jim has effectively managed production operations. Prior to this role, Jim worked at Rockwell International (Goss) from 1981 to July 1989 as an Erector, focusing on the installation and servicing of printing presses. Earlier in their career, Jim spent five years at General Tool Company as an Assembler, where responsibilities included the assembly of printing presses for GOSS as well as various machines for Procter and Gamble and General Electric, alongside operating machine shop lathes and mills. Jim's educational background includes training at Paul C Hayes Technical School from 1973 to 1975 and graduation from Franklin Heights High School in 1975.
