Rupert Bull has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over three decades. Rupert began their career in 1990 as a Captain (Acting Major) in The Blues and Royals, where they completed two operational tours in the Gulf and Cambodia. In Cambodia, they served as an Acting Major, overseeing border integrity and diplomatic relations with neighboring governments.

After leaving the military, Rupert entered the corporate world. Rupert worked at Reuters as a Key Account Manager from 1993 to 1998 and then at Instinet as a Senior Manager from 1998 to 2001.

In 2001, Rupert joined Expand Research LLP, a company of The Boston Consulting Group, and held various roles, including Managing Partner and Owner, Managing Director, and Partner. During their time at Expand Research, they built a global C-Level network and introduced the CIO Forum business to the Capital Markets and Wealth Management industry.

In 2014, Rupert served as the Non-Executive Chairman of London Property View Limited before joining GreySpark Partners in 2015 as Director of FinTech. At GreySpark Partners, they led and grew the FinTech practice, providing due diligence support and advisory services for investors and companies.

In 2015, Rupert also founded Finceler8 Limited, a company focused on identifying the right FinTech companies for engagement and investment in the financial services industry.

In 2017, Rupert worked as an Advisory Consultant for the Technology and Operations Committee at the AFME Association for Financial Markets in Europe, where they were responsible for developing and delivering AFME's proposition to the COO and CTO community.

In 2021, Rupert joined TISAtech (Tt) as an Advisory Board Member, contributing to industry innovation efforts and focusing on issues such as outdated legacy systems and automating insurance claim procedures.

Currently, Rupert serves as the Chief Executive Officer of The Disruption House, where they aim to increase the speed and efficiency of engagement between FinTechs, their clients, and investors by making their capabilities visible to decision-makers.

Rupert Bull began their education at Rugby School, although the specific details about the degree and field of study are not provided. Rupert then went on to attend the University of Oxford from 1985 to 1989, where they obtained a degree in Literae Humaniores (Greats) with a focus on Latin and Greek Literature, as well as Ancient History. Following their time at Oxford, Rupert attended the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst from 1989 to 1990, completing the Standard Graduate Course in Military and Strategic Leadership. Their additional certification as an SFA Registered Representative was obtained sometime between 1998 and 2001 from the Securities and Futures Authority.
