Julie Ritzman

Julie Ritzman has extensive experience in risk management and patient safety. Julie is currently serving as the Vice President of Patient Safety and Risk Management at The Doctors Company since April 2019. Prior to this, they held various leadership roles at MICA Medical Foundation, Mutual Insurance Company of Arizona (MICA), St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center, Arizona Heart Hospital, Phoenix Baptist Hospital, and Sanford Health. Julie'sroles included Vice President, Director of Risk Management, and Risk Manager. Julie'stenure in these positions ranges from 1998 to present.

Julie Ritzman holds an MBA degree from the University of South Dakota. Julie obtained additional certifications such as an Enterprise Risk Management Certificate, a Patient Safety Certificate, and a Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) from the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management (ASHRM) and the American Hospital Association.
