Robin Wessels

Robin Wessels has a diverse work experience in various healthcare organizations. They started their career as a Director of Risk Management at MedStar Health, where they focused on strategic planning, loss control activities, and developing educational programs to minimize risks and enhance patient safety. Later, Robin worked as a Risk Manager at American Radiology Services, where they developed and implemented a comprehensive Risk Management and Quality Assurance program. They also served as a Nurse Manager and Director of Emergency Services at Howard County General Hospital, where they implemented innovative programs and collaborated with external organizations. Robin then became the Director of Urgent Care at Bonita Community Health Center, overseeing daily operations and ensuring regulatory compliance. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Patient Safety and Risk Management at The Doctors Company, demonstrating their expertise in this field.

Robin Wessels earned a Bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Molloy University, where they studied from 1983 to 1987. Robin later pursued an MBA from The George Washington University, completing the program from 1998 to 2003.
