The Donum Estate
Tony Chapman is an accomplished wine professional with extensive experience in both winemaking and viticulture. Currently serving as the Director of Winegrowing at The Donum Estate since March 2019, Tony focuses on crafting high-quality Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, emphasizing the expression of terroir. In addition to this role, Tony is a Consulting Winemaker for Heffernan Wines since March 2023. Previous positions include Director of Winemaking Operations at ATELIER-COPAIN, LLC DBA PUNCHDOWN CELLARS, Assistant Winemaker at Mac Forbes Winery, and Vintage Assistant Winemaker at Moric, among others. Tony began their career in the vineyard and cellar at various wineries, ensuring a strong foundation in viticultural practices. Tony holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Wine and Viticulture from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.

The Donum Estate
Donum is the leader in single-vineyard, single-appellation Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay from Carneros, the acclaimed wine region nestled between Napa and Sonoma Counties. Celebrating its 20th vintage this year, Donum’s terroir-driven wines reflect the energy and complexity of some of the most celebrated regions in Northern California, including the Carneros, Russian River Valley, and Anderson Valley. The Donum Estate spans over 200 acres, with nearly 150 planted.
