Barbara Clapp

Barbara Clapp currently serves as the Director of Partnerships, Individual Giving and Events at The Door - A Center of Alternatives, a position held since July 2019. Previously, Barbara held multiple leadership roles including Managing Director at University Settlement Society of New York and Managing Director at The Door, Broome Street Academy from July 2019 to July 2021. Barbara has extensive experience in individual giving and major gifts, having worked at Columbia Business School from February 2009 to June 2019, where roles included Senior Executive Director and Executive Director of Individual Giving. Barbara's earlier experience includes positions at Barnard College in annual giving and special events, with additional roles at Graham Windham and New York City Center. Barbara earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Susquehanna University.
