Dayanara Acuna

Dayanara Acuna currently serves as a Paralegal for the Detained Minors Project at The Door - A Center of Alternatives since August 2023. Prior experience includes a role as a Student Intern in the Office of Visa and Immigration Services at Dartmouth College from January 2021 to August 2023, where responsibilities involved various administrative tasks. Dayanara also worked as a Drill Instructor in the Spanish Department, utilizing the Rassias Method to enhance students' Spanish speaking and grammar skills while providing assessments and feedback. Additionally, an internship with City Heights Community Development focused on documenting outcomes for tenants in the Emergency Rental Assistance Program. Dayanara holds a Bachelor of Arts in Latin American, Latino and Caribbean Studies from Dartmouth College, complemented by a Minor in Hispanic Studies, and graduated from Norwalk High School in June 2019.
