Gillian Nissenbaum

Gillian Nissenbaum has extensive experience in institutional giving and advocacy. Currently serving as the Director of Institutional Giving at The Door - A Center of Alternatives since March 2021, Gillian has progressed through various roles within the organization, including Assistant Director of Institutional Giving and Grants Officer. Prior experience includes working as a Court Advocate Outreach Worker at The Fortune Society and serving in research and social work internships at Colgate University and the Center for Family Representation, respectively. Gillian also gained clinical experience as an intern at The Beacon Programs and as an outreach intern at Settlement Housing Fund, Inc. Gillian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Psychology from Colgate University.
