John Atkins

John Atkins is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the arts and exhibits management. Currently serving as Director of Exhibits and Facilities at The DoSeum since January 2022, John previously held positions as Exhibits Technical Manager and Fabricator at McNay Art Museum from June 2017 to October 2021. Additionally, John taught stop motion animation at Christ Episcopal School for three summers and worked as a Specialty Props Designer and Fabricator at Southeastern Louisiana University. John holds a Master of Fine Arts in Visual and Performing Arts from The University of Texas at San Antonio and a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts from Southeastern Louisiana University.
