Kevin Hamel

Kevin Hamel has extensive experience in broadcast operations, specializing in EVS and replay systems, with a career spanning multiple prominent sports and entertainment events. Since 2006, Kevin has worked for SNY as an EVS RO focused on NY Mets broadcasts. Additionally, Kevin has contributed to YES Network as an EVS operator for NY Yankees since April 2002 and has been involved with The Madison Square Garden Company, operating EVS for the Islanders, Rangers, and Knicks since January 1998. Notable recent projects include roles in high-profile events such as the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade for NBCUniversal and various productions for Disney General Entertainment Content, including the Time 100 Summit & Gala and Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve 2024. Kevin holds a Bachelor's degree in Media and Communications from S.U.N.Y. College at Old Westbury and an Associate's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Nassau Community College.
