Rebecca DiGiovanna

Assistant Curator at The Drawing Center

Rebecca DiGiovanna is a professional in the art field, currently serving as Assistant Curator and Administrative Manager at The Drawing Center since February 2019. In this role, Rebecca coordinates interdepartmental projects and curatorial support for contemporary exhibitions while also leading strategic initiatives, including DEAI and archival work. Prior to this, Rebecca held the position of Curator at American Abstract Artists from April 2017 to September 2023, where a notable achievement includes curating the exhibition "Blurring Boundaries: The Women of American Abstract Artists, 1936-Present." Additionally, Rebecca worked as a Commercial Artist for Away, specializing in hand-painted lettering and graphics. Educational experience includes an MA candidacy in Art History from Hunter College, and a Bachelor's degree in Museum Studies from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, complemented by studies at Santa Reparata International School of Art.
