Derek Mason

Derek Mason has over 16 years of work experience in various finance and management roles. Derek started their career as a Sales Representative at Vector Marketing in 2004. From 2005 to 2011, Derek worked at Dunn-Edwards Corporation as an Assistant Manager, successfully managing a sales team and improving the store's revenue. In 2011, they joined Viagogo as a Fulfillment Team Associate, where they processed tickets, analyzed sales trends, and assisted customers. Derek then worked at Grant Thornton LLP from 2013 to 2017, initially as a Finance & Operations Associate and later as a Senior Finance Associate. Currently, they are employed at The Duckhorn Portfolio as the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, where they manage financial planning and oversees the analysis of financial data. Throughout their career, Derek has demonstrated strong financial analysis and management skills.

Derek Mason completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance at San Francisco State University, Lam Family College of Business from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology, with a minor in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, from Pepperdine University, which they attended from 2005 to 2008.
