The Durham Museum
Kyle Chattleton, PhD, currently serves as the Education Services Coordinator for Public Programs at The Durham Museum since September 2023. Prior experience includes working as a Monticello Guide for the Thomas Jefferson Foundation from August 2019 to July 2023, where Kyle led over 2,000 tours for more than 30,000 visitors, focusing on crafting engaging narratives about Monticello's historical complexities. Academic roles include serving as a Graduate Instructor and Teaching Assistant at the University of Virginia from August 2013 to May 2021, as well as holding various positions at Chapman University, including Assistant to the Theory/Composition Faculty and Recital Manager. Kyle Chattleton earned a PhD/MA in Music - Critical and Comparative Studies from the University of Virginia and holds a BA in Music and a BMus in Composition from Chapman University.
