Brad Hankee

Brad Hankee has worked in a variety of roles since 2008. From 2008 to 2013, they served as an Electrical and Environmental Specialist in the United States Air Force, where they updated computer programs to enhance scheduling operations, prioritized job duties based on daily operational parameters, and trained and mentored new members to make sure they were performing job duties efficiently. From 2013 to 2016, they were an Information and Referral Specialist at CNIC Navy Fleet and Family Support Employment Readiness, where they created digital and print flyers using design process from mockup to final draft, integrated weekly joke/riddle on outside marquee sign, and was in charge of monthly newsletter that was distributed via print and email. From 2016 to 2018, they were a Senior Full Stack Tutor at Trilogy Education and a Head Instructor/Open Source Developer at Vets Who Code, where they helped transition the main VetsWhoCode site from HTML, CSS & JavaScript to JAM stack with a React front-end and API services. Since 2018, they have been a Front-End UI Web Developer at DataXstream, SAP Consulting and Solutions, where they have developed and built new features into core product while also customizing product for individual client needs. Brad is currently a Senior Frontend Developer at The Dyrt.

Brad Hankee has a diverse educational background. In 2001, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. From 2010 to 2012, they completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from University of Maryland Global Campus in Business Administration and Management, General. In 2016, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Web Design and Technology from University of Maryland Global Campus. Brad also completed an Intro to Programming course from Udacity in 2016 and a Fullstack Web Development Program from Vets Who Code in 2017. In March 2017, they obtained a Git Essential Training certification from LinkedIn.
