Laura Spencer

Laura Spencer, CPA has a diverse and extensive work experience. Laura is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer for The Ear, Nose, Throat and Plastic Surgery Associates since October 2023. Before that, they worked as the Interim COO/CFO for Bloom Health Centers from February 2023 to September 2023. From September 2022 to March 2023, they worked as a Consultant for their own firm, Laura Spencer, CPA.

Prior to these roles, Laura held various positions including VP Finance at Mindpath Health from February 2016 to September 2022, Controller/Member at K Spencer Construction LLC from June 2001 to February 2022, and as a Controller for both Homer Donaldson Company and Adrian Precision Machining from May 2012 to September 2014.

Laura also worked as a CPA at Donna Baker & Associates, LLC from December 2011 to May 2012, and as a Controller at Pennington Gas Service from November 2006 to April 2011. Before that, they served as a Business Manager/CFO at Lenawee Christian Ministries from June 2002 to November 2006, and as a Self-Employed CPA from March 1997 to June 2002.

Laura Spencer, CPA holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Accounting from Siena Heights University, which they obtained from 1992 to 1994. Laura also possesses a High School Diploma in Primary Education from Morenci Area Schools, completed between 1975 and 1988. In terms of additional certifications, Laura is currently in the process of obtaining the COSO Internal Control Certificate Program from IMA | Institute of Management Accountants in 2023. Laura is also a Certified Public Accountant, although the details of their CPA certification are not provided.
