The Earth School is a student-centered, project-based school in El Nido, Palawan, Philippines, serving Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12.

We practice eco-pedagogy — an interdisciplinary, child-centered approach that connects each learner with nature, community, and self. Our curriculum draws from Montessori, Waldorf, IB, and progressive systems from around the world.

At The Earth School, learning happens in forests, on beaches, and in community. Our campus at Lio Estate sits on the doorstep of one of the world's most biodiverse marine and terrestrial ecosystems. Students don't just read about sustainability — they practice it daily through integrated themes, Earth Studies projects, and real partnerships with local conservation organizations.

We maintain small class sizes, prioritize social-emotional learning through restorative justice practices, and support diverse learners including those with special educational needs and English as an additional language.

Our team has included educators from the Philippines, Australia, France, UK, Canada, and the US, united by a shared belief that education should be purposeful, place-based, and joyful.

We are currently pursuing UNESCO Greening Education Partnership school and CIS international accreditation. We are also accredited by the Department of Education (Philippines).
